I contemplated whether I would even share this with my readers but I figured what why not.
What are most online marketers lacking? Well that’s easy.. Traffic to their websites. I struggled with this for months when I first put my blog up.
Over the course of time I found a system that not only drives traffic, it increases your websites page rank as well as traffic value. In other words-Google starts to pay attention and rank you which is a really good thing.
I have to tell you though. You don’t want to drive traffic to a crappy website if you ever plan on having long term success on the internet. There is plenty of competition and if your site doesn’t stand out, people will quickly leave and check out some one else.
So step #1 – You want to have a professionally done site. You are going to have to invest in you and your branding/positioning. This is the biggest thing I see people miss. They get online and have no credibility so the only way to stand out is to earn trust. It’s all about how you position yourself.

I remember this like it was yesterday. It was in senior year in highschool and was working for a telemarketing agency. Remember the movie Boiler Room? Well that was me sitting in an office dialing for dollars, selling Tony Robbins Personal Power series. You see, I was generating leads and sales for Tony Robbins and the company I was working for, but that was back in the late 1980’s.
Fast forward to the year 2009 and boy has the game changed. Whether you have a brick and morter business or are in network marketing, you need two things to be successful and they are leads and sales. I have seen some crazy things that brick and morter businesses do to bring in business. We have a Cici’s pizza locally here in town and they always place a person on the corner intersection with a Cici’s lunch special sign. These employees are dancing with a sign on a corner for money and to generate traffic for their boss. Now that is ridiculous. That is their lead generation system or one of them.
Now lets talk about the network marketing world and how most generate leads in that arena. For years, people have been taught to generate leads by making lists of people they have known their whole life. They put on those lists, friends, family, former teachers, doctors and every Tom Dick and Harry they have ever known. Then they call those people to see if they have an interest in joining their business. After that list is gone, the way most companies will teach you to keep your lead pool full is to get good at talking to strangers. You see, these strategies work for 15% of people that get started in network marketing. Why? Because they have to have a type “A” personality. So this lead generation system is played out and old school.
