What It Means To Be Committed To Your Network Marketing Business.

Commitment – the act of binding yourself (intellectually or emotionally) to a course of action.
I was about 10 years old, living on the North shore of Maui in the Hawaiian Islands when I got my first surfboard. Back then I was a little fella with no fear whatsoever. My surfboard was about 9 feet (a long board) in those days’ standards.
I can remember it like it was yesterday. My friends’ older brother was taking us surfing at the world famous Hookipa State Park, which yields some of the biggest, nastiest winter waves in the world and also a world famous windsurfing and Kite Surfing spot.
Anyways, a storm has recently blown through and the waves were huge that day. We got to the beach, I waxed up my board and for the first time in my life I paddled out into uncharted waters with waves 4 times my height.

Offline Vs. Online Network Marketing

Network Marketing is not what it was ten years ago. Quite frankly it’s not what is was five years ago. I am going to go over the pros and cons of building your business online vs. offline and you can make your own determination of what makes more sense to you.
After doing both, I know the answer. You will have to make the determination for yourself, but I think once your done, you will see things in a whole new light.

Starting Strong/Finishing Weak
Back in high school I was a wrestler. Yes I had to wear a skimpy singlet and head gear and probably looked like a dork, but let me tell you, as far as training goes, there is no sport that tests your endurance more. For some reason at every wrestling match about 3 minutes in, if I lasted that long, I would run out of gas.
I was a very strong starter. I came out on the mat in a match with blazing guns and would try to take my opponent out in the first minute or so. I knew I had to as I knew I was known to run out of gas by the second round and would ultimately get pinned. I was not a strong finisher. Why? I think it was probably mindset more than anything. Back then, I knew little about how my own mind worked, but through previous experiences, I taught myself that I couldn’t go past that second round and if I was going to win, I had to do it quickly.

Network Marketing has been around since the beginning of time……..
When you think of the greatest network marketer of all time, who comes to mind? Jim Rohn? Dexter Yager? Larry Winters or Randy Gage?
For me, it’s got to be Jesus Christ. You may be scratching your head thinking I have gone off my rocker but hold on a sec and let me go deeper. Jesus walked the earth over 2000 years ago. His message was the Gospel “The Good News”. That was his product line (per say). He had twelve disciples in which he commanded to go out into the world and spread the word of the Gospel.
Now you catch my drift. The Gospel spread all over earth and nearly 2/3 of the planet know of him and his teachings. It all started with the twelve. The message remains unscathed and the product still pure. Jesus has the largest down line known to man.

Is Your Network Marketing Lead Generation Up To Par?
Sunday, December 27th, 2009There are many ways to generate leads in your network marketing business. Some hold on to traditional techniques as this is what they are comfortable doing. Is there anything wrong with it? Nope. It all depends on what kind of momentum you want to have in your business and how fast you want to grow your organization.
I have built my business both ways. I used to spend every spare moment I had in what I call “contact mode”. I was always talking to people everywhere I went. I simply started conversations and looked to find out a few things about a person. I wanted to know if they were happy doing what they were doing for a living, if they were making all of the money they wanted and living the life they wanted. I would guide them down a path in a conversation to find out what made them tick.
Did I have success using these techniques? I had some success, but could never create enough momentum, nor have others duplicate what I was doing to build my list of potential business partners. I learned a lot about people during this portion of my life. Mostly, I realized that most folks were comfortable doing what they were doing, or, were afraid and skeptical about starting a new venture in which they were unfamiliar.

Network Marketing Tools – What Do You Have In Your ToolBox?
Monday, November 2nd, 2009All successful network marketers and business minded people use tools, otherwise known as systems to assist them in running their business.
Ten years ago, I knew nothing about Network Marketing Tools or Network Marketing business systems. All I knew about was the hotel business and the systems that I used to run my hotel. Accounting systems, inventory systems, reservation systems and payroll systems.
You see business runs on systems and without them, you are back to journals and a huge room filled with file cabinets to store and track information.
What separates the successful network marketer are the tools he or she uses for their trade. I love to use automation tools. Anytime I can take the human error out of what I am doing, I do it and so should you.
