The Four Most Dangerous Words In The English Dictionary.
Monday, October 5th, 2009The four most dangerous words are, “I already know that!”
My step-father used to call me Mr. Know-it-all as a kid growing up. I hated it, however it was well deserved. I thought I knew everything. Can you imagine? 11 years old and I thought I had everything figured out. Boy was I wrong. The best part about it, was that my step-dad was a doctor. Yep, he practiced psychology.
Fast forward a bunch of years, now I am 37 and I know a little more than I did at age 11, however I realized that life is a constant education. In relation to the amount of knowledge one can aquire throughout a lifetime, I know absolutely nothing in comparison.
I have learned that I never tell anyone, “I already know that”, or anything like that phrase. Why? It only shows ignorance. If you already knew everything, there would be nothing left to learn.

Are You Results or Goal Oriented?

When I first got started in business, I was very results oriented. I would do the work, check the results, do the work and then check to see if anything was happening. What I can tell you is I was an emotional mess. I call this the Yo-Yo Syndrome. One Minute I was up, because I had some good results and the next minute I was down because the outcome was not as I had expected.
Fast forward a bunch of years I look back at how I was building my business and I now realize one of the secrets.

[Selling From Home]-A 21st Century Trend

People who are have a really good work ethic can make an awesome living through selling from home, however it does take some learned skills to do so. There are several factors to consider before attempting to do so.
- First, you must decide what you are going to sell. Are you going to start a business or are you going to be working for someone else. If starting a business, you will need to have a system in place to grow your business.
- Decide what you want to get out it. What is the end result of efforts.
- How much time are you willing to commit to making it happen.
Selling from home gives you the freedom to be your own boss and to decide how much or how little income you want to create. Like anything else it takes time and effort. I highly recommend if you decide to create a business for yourself, you check out the network marketing industry. Your upfront start- up fees are minimal and you can literally create a multi-million dollar business over the course of a few years with a good work ethic and a desire to win.
It’s much easier to follow a system that has had success than to have to come up with the system yourself. Become really comfortable with a product you like and you will be able to sell it well. It is important to use whatever it is you are selling. Kind of hard to sell something you’re not sold out on.
