For those of you not privy to what is going on in country, our buying power is slowly being sucked from us.  As the US dollar diminishes in value, precious metals increase.  As a country we are going farther and farther in debt.  That debt is owed to foreign countries.

So while we are going down like the Titanic, we have countries like China, Korea and India with whom we owe money to.

Pretty sad really.

I mean, why is it that we live in a country with more freedoms that 95% of the world, yet we are so financially enslaved.

Let me remind you, it’s not just our government, it’s people are also heavily in debt and none of it is getting better.

As more and more layoffs keep happening and more jobs are being prostituted overseas to cheaper, more efficient labor, it is becoming harder and harder for people to survive financially.

So what is the solution?

People get laid off from work and continue to go back through the same cycle.  Getting a job.

Why would you keep going back to something you keep getting kicked out of?

When is enough enough?

When will people stop going back to what has been comfortable (not really!)?  It’s called your comfort zone.

Things have changed.  We are living in an outsourced, displaced, laid off world.  Going to school, getting an education and going to work for the biggest company you can find isn’t working anymore.

Today, the internet has become the place where incomes are being made.

For some odd reason, people have this notion that it is hard to make money online or there is some mystic scam world here.

It is way easier learning to make money online and learning the skill sets to do it than learning the requirements for a new job and then going through everything you have to do for a company or boss to make a living.

For you to survive this new economy, your going to have to look at things differently, learn some new skills and get out of your comfortable little world you have been living in.

It’s time to wake up people. Wake up and do something worthy with your life. Make a difference in the world around you.

The only guarantee in life is that you are going to go to sleep tonight.

Just because you have an online business is in no way a guarantee that your going to make any money. Millions of people have gym memberships.  They are card carrying members, right?  How many of them do you think actually use their membership?  The truth is, a very small percentage.

I am a workout fanatic. I am in the gym at 5:00 am five days a week and 9:00 on Saturdays.  Why? Because I have fitness goals that I am fully committed to.  What I notice is that in January of every year, the gym is packed to the gills with people who have made New Years Resolutions to get fit and lose weight.  Two weeks later, the gym goes back to normal and people go back to the same routine that they were used to.

Why is this?  Resolutions are not habits and if you don’t stay the course and be persistent and consistent in your efforts, you will fall back into your comfort zone.

It’s The Same Thing In Your Online Business

People get started in an online business with the hopes that they can replace their full time income one day.  The fact is, people are used to being told what to do and come into the home based business industry with an employee mindset.  To make it in business, you have to develop an entrepreneurs mindset, decide that you are going to do whatever it takes to succeed.

The most deadly words I hear all to often is, “I will give it a try and see if it works.”  When I hear that, I tell people they mine as well quit right now because they don’t stand a chance.  If you put a time limit on your success, your setting yourself up for failure.

Know That Your Going To Win

I love what my mentor Aaron Rashkin say’s.  He says if your why doesn’t make you cry, it’s not big enough.  You have to know what you want and be emotional about it or it’s not really your why.  You cant throw mud at your future and hope it sticks.  You have to have a game plan and stick to it no matter what.  Are you going to run into obstacles?  Yep!

This is why few people will ever make any serious money online.  Few people are willing to go through the tough times to see it through to the terrific times.  Your going to reach road blocks that you must be able to barrel through.  You have to decide that no matter what is thrown your way, your going to move past it and continue on.

Investing In You

The only investment that NEVER depreciates in value is people (YOU).  Invest in yourself first so that you can invest in other people.  Why is it that people will invest tens of thousands into a college education but yet once college is over, they feel that every other investment in a course is an expense.  I will tell you why.  Their mindset is all wrong and their belief is not there.

You have to invest in courses, tools and your business in order for it to pay dividends. I like to think of my business as my baby.  I have to feed it until it is mature enough to feed itself and then as time goes on, feed me.  Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself.

Putting It All On The Line

Things will happen for you when you decide that your never going to quit and you commit.  Commitment means to put all your resources forward ahead of time.  Close the door of retreat behind you and you will be forced to move forward.  If you are sitting on $10,000 and you know you need it to move your business forward, invest it.  That could be the single thing that is holding you back.

That is your comfort cushion and until you get rid of it, you will always mentally have that fall back money in your mind.  That investment could be what is keeping you from realizing your dreams and taking your business to the next level.

Get out of your comfort zone and be uncomfortable.  That is where growth always happens, especially in an online business.
