I remember this like it was yesterday. It was in  senior year in highschool and was working for a telemarketing agency.  Remember the movie Boiler Room? Well that was me sitting in an office dialing for dollars, selling Tony Robbins Personal Power series.  You see, I was generating leads and sales for Tony Robbins and the company I was working for, but that was back in the late 1980’s.

Fast forward to the year 2009 and boy has the game changed. Whether you have a brick and morter business or are in network marketing, you need two things to be successful and they are leads and sales.  I have seen some crazy things that brick and morter businesses do to bring in business.  We have a Cici’s pizza locally here in town and they always place a person on the corner intersection with a Cici’s lunch special sign.  These employees are dancing with a sign on a corner for money and to generate traffic for their boss.  Now that is ridiculous.  That is their lead generation system or one of them.

Now lets talk about the network marketing world and how most generate leads in that arena. For years, people have been taught to generate leads by making lists of people they have known their whole life.  They put on those lists, friends, family, former teachers, doctors and every Tom Dick and Harry they have ever known. Then they call those people to see if they have an interest in joining their business.  After that list is gone, the way most companies will teach you to keep your lead pool full is to get good at talking to strangers.  You see, these strategies work for 15% of people that get started in network marketing. Why? Because they have to have a type “A” personality. So this lead generation system is played out and old school.

As Far as lead generation systems go, I can say that these rarely produce explosive results.  The Savvy marketer or business owner knows how to leverage the power of the internet to generate an endless supply of hungry leads with cash in hand ready to get started in business or buy your product.

There are tons of lead generation systems out there. The ones that I have found are successful,  have the best training systems behind them.  MLM Lead System Pro and Magnetic Sponsoring are the two systems that changed the way people look at attraction marketing and lead generation.  There are three things that online lead generation systems allow you to do.

1. Generate Leads – Through using online marketing techniques and a funded proposal sales system we attract highly targeted leads into our sales funnel and start building a list of prospects.  Unlike old school techniques, this is all done on line through many forms of marketing. Your networth will be determined by the size of your lead list.  These are people that opted in to get information from you, you werent chasing them.  You can market to these people over and over.

2. Develop Relationships – We develop relationships a little bit differently online. We use email autoresponders to keep in touch with our prospects and provide them with valuable content. I’m not saying we never talk to folks on the phone, we do.  But when you start generating 15-20 leads a day, there is no way to get to all of those people and connect via the telephone.  Through a series of emails that you have control of, you can develop a trusted group of leads and turn them into paying customers over the course of time.

3. Monetization – Having multiple streams of income within your sales funnel system is essential to your success.  Most people will quit their network marketing  business within their first three months because they either go broke or get discouraged because they aren’t making any money. The same thing with traditional brick and morter businesses. They will shut the doors if there are not enough people coming through the door. The list that you create (your leads) are the most valuable asset you can have.  It is said that a list of 10,000 people should yield a high six figure income. Knowing how to market to that list you have built is essential to your success.

In conclusion, whether your in traditional business, MLM or Top Tier Direct Sales taking advantage of a robust lead generation system will be essential to your long term growth.

Lead Generation Systems are a dime a dozen on the Internet.

If your like me, when I first got started in network marketing, I was fired up.  I was sure that within 6 months I would be a millionaire or close to it.  What made me think that? Well, I was smart, hardworking, could follow systems, etc..

The Reality set in after the first couple of weeks.  I had exhausted the list of friends, family and everyone I had known through out my whole life. I had sponsored a few people in business, but was out of leads.  I realized I was going to have to get really good at talking to people about my business or so I thought.

You see,  I was being trained and mentored by a guy that was extremely successful, but had built his huge organization back in the 1980’s and early 1990’s and had no clue about generating leads over the Internet.  All he knew was old school prospecting.

I was out of leads, was tired of talking to strangers, walking the malls, supermarkets, Home Depots and my local bookstore looking for my next business partner.  Can you relate?  I knew there was a better way to attract people to me.  I knew there was a more 21st century method to building my business and I was determined to find out what the top producers where doing to build their business in todays day and time.

Fast forward a few years, the game changed.  What I had noticed is that there was a paradigm shift.  The Internet was were network marketers were turning to build their empires.  They were using sophisticated yet user friendly lead generation systems to build their business.  This was when I was introduced to the funded proposal system.

How did I find it?  Well it all started with me starting to search on the web for network marketing training online.  Through the search I encountered a guy by the name of Mike Dillard and his E-book,Course and affiliate system called Magnetic Sponsoring. This was a few years back. I forked up the $40 and my life was dramatically changed. Mike forever changed the way network marketers generated leads as well as changed the whole industry.

The days of pitching friends and family, making lists, hotel meetings, etc. where now over for me.  I learned the truth about why people would join someone in business.  It was not that they were making tons of cash, it wasn’t because they drove a red Ferrari or Porsche Carrera Twin Turbo.  It was because of relationships.  People do business with people they know, like and trust. Period..

Mike Dillard’s system taught me valuable lessons in which I put to work immediately.  Today, Mike Dillard is one of my mentors and we are in business together.  If fact, he is in my line of sponsorship in my primary company.  His attraction marketing system inspired a whole new way of thinking in the network marketing community called “Attraction Marketing”. Other’s followed his system and produced substantial results. This caused an Internet Revolution and other leaders such as Brian Fanale, Todd Schlomer and Norbert Orlawitz came forward with Network Marketings first, self branding, fully customizable attraction marketing lead generation system.

The System I speak of is MLM Lead System Pro. This system takes the person who knows nothing about network marketing and MLM lead generation from the ground up, teaching philosophy, hardcore tactics, tips and tricks and turns them into master online marketers.  I dont know about you, but I wanted to master the art of generating leads and doing it online.
