What do you and Lady Gaga have in common?
Sunday, January 17th, 2010
I don’t know about you but I get fired up hearing about and watching other people succeed. I was just watching a show featuring Lady Gaga. If you don’t know who she is, she is one of today’s hottest pop icons with 8 million records sold and has an album with 4 #1 songs. Pretty amazing.
The part that got me was the consistent effort she put forth all the way through her childhood. She knew what she wanted way before she had it and worked for it. By 6 she was taking piano lessons, in high school she was in the choir and was writing songs and producing them.
She had such a big dream and held it in for a long time. She visualized herself as Lady Gaga way before she ever became it. That is not even her real name. It’s Joanne Angelina Germanotta.

Let’s face it. Everyone is trying to sell someone something…All of the time.
Whether it’s you trying to convince someone of something, selling a product or service or simply trying to get your way, you’re selling. Some are great at it and others… Well let’s just say they could use a few pointers. How about 6 of them.
Building Trust
Building trust with your audience or potential customers is CRITICAL. It all starts with a conversation. Conversations turn into relationships of trust. Having trust leads to sales. No trust=no sales. It’s that simple. I see a whole generation of people online and offline trying to skip the trust step and go right for the sale. I have a question for you. How is it working so far?

What Type of Network Marketer Are You?
Friday, January 8th, 2010
In today’s world there are all types of network markter’s out there. Here are a few I came up with………
The Wanna-Be Network Marketer
Ever hear of the term fake it until you make it? These are network marketers that try to impress you by making outlandish income claims and trying to make you think that they have made it financially. I see it all over the place on the web but can read right through those people.
It’s real easy to pick them out of the crowd-simply google them. It is amazing what you can find out about people when you query the search engines.

"Branding Is Everything"
Indeed, there are some dirty little secrets on how to brand yourself online. Many people get online and try to market their product or service but have not done the back-end work to really become a successful entrepreneur online.
Personal Branding is essential to your success online. We are now in a big time information age and peoples lives are an open book. You have to be transparent. Anyone can find out anything on the web. Not that its all credible, but what people read, people believe and that is the bottom line.
The first step in branding yourself is owning your own domain for your name. Once you have that all set, you want to get a blog up and running. A blog is your main hub/home base. It is where people can go and find out about the real you. People want to know who people really are before they will do business with them.

“You Inc”- Building Your Brand
Saturday, April 11th, 2009You Inc. – Building Your Brand, Building Your Future.
I am just going to let it all out here and share with you what I have discovered over the years about You Inc.
After spending about 10 years in the corporate world, I realized that I was not the asset I thought I was to the company that I worked for. I was infact a liability.
Once I understood that expenses were liabilities, and that because someone else was signing my paycheck that my livelyhood was dependant upon some pretty unstable ground.
When companys look to lower their expenses and increase their cashflow, they cut expenses and being that payroll usually accounts for the majority of a companies expense (liability), thats were they cut.
