I know, I'm not trying to criticize. I just made the comment b/c it is the TOP 7, and I think SEO would be above direct mail b/c it is more targeted and it is reaching people when they are in the buying mode. To get good results from SEO it requires both on-site and off-site optimization. Just setting up your website to be “SEO friendly” doesn't work in competitive markets anymore.

Mike, I appreciate the comment. The Post was called 7 Surefire ways, not 8 LOL. I could have listed a whole 20. SEO is deadly important, however, if you read down just a little further in my blog, you would have found some juicy SEO material. To each it's place. Cheers.

All are great ways, but what about Search Engine Optimization (SEO)? You have Google AdWord (PPC), which gets you into the sponsored links. But nothing about getting your website to rank organically so you don't have to pay for every click… Just something to consider.
