The Year For a Fresh Start

So it’s been a while since my last post.  So much has happened just in the past month.  We have spent the past 6 months building our dream home which we were finally able to move into on December 29, 2016.  Since moving in, I’ve gotten some of the best sleep that I’ve had in over a decade. This is a year of fresh starts.

We could not be happier with the outcome.  Being the foodie that I am, I have a kitchen worthy of the Chef that I am and have dished up some incredible meals thus far and look forward to doing a lot of entertaining over the coming years.josh boxer house

Along with the new house, we also have a new president.  I couldn’t be happier with Trump being elected.  While some may disagree with me, our country needed someone with a business background.  After all, we have one of the largest budgets in the world to manage and who better to do that than someone who runs successful corporations.

Well, that’s all for political statements.  As a whole,  our family is in a really nice place in life and are truly blessed.

We give all the credit to God for everything we have and give him the honor and glory in everything we do.  We take nothing for granted and realize that we are just stewards of everything that we own and take care of it accordingly.

While many people grumble about our economy or just how tough life is, the reality is that if you live in the United States of America, you are part of the elite in the world living way more comfortable than the majority of the people on the planet.

Let us be thankful for all we are endowed with and take care of what we already have.  Let us separate needs from wants and focus on what is truly important for the fabric of our society.

We welcome this new year with open arms and are excited as to what it brings.

Many blessings to all.
