Betty Crocker Secrets To Success

Since 1921, the Betty Crocker name has symbolized General Mills’ continuing tradition of service to consumers. Although Betty was never a real person, her name and identity have become synonymous with helpfulness, trustworthiness and quality.

Betty Crocker has 19 fully equipped kitchens in which performs over 50,000 tests on recipes every year.  The recipes are intended for the consumer to be able to replicate the exact results that were performed in the test kitchens.

So what does Betty Crocker have to do with your success in business and what is the secret to her 89 years of success?  The recipe.

When you got started in your own home based business I am sure you were given “A recipe”, weren’t you?  Some of you followed the recipe and got the results.  Others thought that they would try their own recipe and lo and behold, their recipe did not come out quite as intended.

In the network marketing industry, especially, duplication is extremely important and without it, you will never achieve long term success.

If you try and substitute egg whites for whole eggs in your cake batter, you will come out with a cake that’s not so fluffy.

If you try and substitute things other than prescribed for your success in business, you are going to come out with a different result than intended.  If you already had the master recipe, you would be getting the results.  If not, you might want to go back and check your recipe to make sure you have all of the ingredients together and follow the plan laid out before you.

You only baked your cake 20 minutes and it should have baked 30 and your wondering why it didn’t come out right?

It’s the same thing in your business.  Sometimes we think we have given it all we have and pull out too quickly, not understanding that we didn’t give it enough time and we wonder why we didn’t get the results we were looking for.

The lesson today is quick and to the point.  If you have been given a game plan by someone who has the results you are looking to have and have not followed it, do yourself a favor and start a new batch.
