A Different World

We are living in a world that is constantly changing, yet so many people refuse to adjust and are waiting for things to go back to “normal”.  I have a question to ask.  What is normal?  Are you waiting for the economy to shape up so that you can either get a job or get a better job or hoping that your commissioned sales job picks up to where it was two years ago?

So many americans are in a holding pattern waiting for something to happen.  This is the worst place you can be.  You either growing or dying or your either moving forward, backwards or no where at all.

Is that you? Are you just hoping good things are going to happen or are you making things happen.

Most work a full time job and build their business on the side. For most it’s a hobby. For others it’s a social club, but for a few it’s their lively hood.

One Mans Dream Comes True

After the gym this morning I made a stop at my local gas station to buy a pack of gum. Looking up above the register, I saw a Georgia State Lottery Ticket Hanging. It was a Jumbo Bucks scratch off ticket for $500,000.  I asked the attendant who won it and she told me that an unemployed hispanic man did.

I live in North Georgia and the Illegal Immigrant population is out of control. At 5am, the hispanic workers line the road waiting for someone to pick them up to earn a days pay.  Well this man that one the ticket, got his money and went back to Mexico. I said to the attendant, “That is The American Dream.”

“Or is it?”

More and More Americans are turning to the Network Marketing Industry rather than brick and mortar businesses.

In today’s uncertain economy and with traditional businesses becoming more and more risky to venture into. A lot of those entrepreneurs are turning to the Internet network marketing industry to build their financial empires.

There are several reasons for this. 1 out of every 2 traditional businesses goes bankrupt within its first year of operation and the risk is just too high. From the initial investment needed to start a brick and mortar business to the capital they will need for their first few years of operation it sometimes runs into the hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars to get a business profitable.

Network Marketing allows the average person to leverage their time as well as resources. With the power of the internet and the access to over 1.5 billion people around the globe that are on the web, it offers a robust platform to penetrate a market with a fraction of the cost of a franchise or other start-up business.

Who is sick and tired of hearing about the recession? How about recession proofing your life so that it has no effect on you.

What is up with all of the negativity and doom and gloom?  Personally, I have to tell ya… If folks lived more within their means and stopped feeding the credit machine, we wouldn’t be in half of the trouble we are in.

Your work ethic, drive and stewardship will determine where you end up in times like these.  Here are some ideas that can help you through this journey.  This is my perspective so please don’t get bent out of shape if you don’t agree with my thoughts.

Recession? What Recession?

The world would say we are in a big time recession.  Reason being?  Because that is what the media has kicked into peoples minds.  The media has forever been controlled and syndicated by our government.  The government calls the shots on what is televised and what is not.  Pretty sad really considering we are a supposed “Democratic Society”. Anyways, you catch my drift.

You see, there is no recession in my house or any of my business partners.  There is no recession on the internet.  Infact there are more millionaires being made everyday online than anywhere else in the world.  What is really pathetic is that our young are taught to go to school, get an education and then go work for a large company and everything will be fine and dandy.  That is a big fat lie.  I am not down on education, I am down on the thought process of education = a financially lucrative life.  I know plenty of high school educated millionaires.

The key to becoming successful is to observe the masses and do the opposite.  Those who were preparing for not so hot financial times and developed a residual stream of income are not in a recession.  Hopefully you arent either.

You have a choice.  You can either work for the man for the rest of your life and have your lifestyle dictated by the company that signs your paycheck or you can take charge of your life and learn how to master internet marketing.  I love working from home, eating cereal with my kids in the morning, working in my livingroom in pajamas and then having my kids come right home and we spend the rest of the day together.  EVERY DAY!  That is called success folks.  Its called having your cake and eating it too.

We live in a nation in which people are crying, “Get Me Out of Debt.” and most are taking the wrong path to make it happen.

We live in a microwave world. People want their popcorn in 2 minutes, oil change in 15 and fast food even quicker. “Everyone is trying to keep up with the Jones’s”, -Says Josh Boxer, a successful entrepreneur. To keep up, people but things on credit and at very high interest rates.

Most Don’t realize they are in trouble until their monthly expenses are exceeding their income. Then comes the point where people are turning to debt consolidation, bankruptcy,etc.. These are not solutions, they cause an even bigger problem as they affect your ability to buy anything on credit for the next 5-7 years.

Hey Gang,

Here is one thing that I just cant figure out and that is people looking for jobs. I am going to assume that those people who are looking, either got laid off from their previous job or are looking for a new one.

To me its crazy. You know there is not such thing as job security anymore. You know your not getting paid what your worth and yet people are still looking for jobs in today’s market.

My Question is, why wouldn’t you go into business for yourself. Being that we are in the internet age and there is a plethora of opportunities, why not. No guts no glory. I understand the people who just flat out have employee mentality but how about the folks out there that know they are capable of doing more.

People underestimate their own ability. Frankly its called laziness. People looking for jobs are afraid to let go of that guaranteed paycheck for the unknown world of Entreprenerialism. The bottom line is, your american dream will never come to fruition unless you take the american dream into your own hands.

For those of you who are serious about making a change in their lives, are willing to work hard and put it all on the line to succeed, I want to talk to you. Make your life happen, dont just let it happen.

opportunity. People get into business for one reason and one reason only,
to have control of their time and to have control of their money.

In traditional business, they have control over neither of those. Your time
is invested in turning your business wheels day in and day out with the
hopes that one day you will create enough income to relax.

Gang, this is the big fat lie and if you have ever owned your own traditional
business, you know this. You dont have control of how much business
you have coming in as it fluctuates. Sure you can have a stronger than
most advertising and marketing campaign and increase your odds of
generating more business, but that is not a constant.
