How To “NOT” Get Caught Up In Internet Marketing Hype.

There has been a whole lot of hype in the Internet Marketing world lately when it comes to content sharing, Facebook PPC and a bunch of other crap that just keeps people so far away from their goals, it’s not even funny.

Let’s start with Tribe Pro

Tribe Pro is a platform in which people have the opportunity to start their own “Tribes” and within those tribes people share eachother’s content via social sites like Facebook, Stumleupon, Digg, etc.

I think the idea is awesome, however totally misleading.  We now have Internet marketing communities bragging on how many visitors they are not getting to their blogs because of the viral nature that takes place when content is shared among different networks.  The bottom line is, this stuff takes a whole bunch of time, yet produces very little income.

I have to be honest with you, when I first got started marketing online I thought there was some secret that was somehow being kept from me.  I thought there was that one thing out there and that if I just found it, my struggle would be over and I would become ultra successful in a matter of weeks.

I soon found out that there is no such secret and the secret was hidden within me the whole time.

What you have to realize is that when you start to have success online, people are watching you and eventually people want to know what you know.  In talking with dozens of people over the past month, I noticed one common theme.  They all told me about all the information products they had bought and were studying and couldn’t figure out why they were no more further along financially then when they first got started.

What You Should Know About Putting Youtube Videos On Your Website.

So alot of people have been using Youtube as their home base to host their videos.  Unknown to alot of those people is the fact that they may tossing money right out the window.

I know what it takes to get someone to visit your landing page, especially if your paying for your traffic.  The last thing you want is for that person to leave your page pre-maturely, yet it happens all the time.  In fact, there are highly successful Internet Marketers (Not going to name names) that still use Youtube to host their landing page videos.

The Big Shift In Our Economy.

Ever wonder how Internet marketers even get a start at what they do?  For some reason I think there is a big misconception that we are these geeky guys and girls that sit in front of a computer all day long and try to peddle our products and services all over the web using all kinds of marketing tactics.

Well, there is partial truth to that, however what it really boils down to is opportunity.

We as marketers recognize market trends.  We study what people’s problems are, find the solutions and then sell them.  It’s how marketing is done, except we just use the most popular medium the history of the world to deliver it.

A New World Demands A New Economy.

For those of you not privy to what is going on in country, our buying power is slowly being sucked from us.  As the US dollar diminishes in value, precious metals increase.  As a country we are going farther and farther in debt.  That debt is owed to foreign countries.

So while we are going down like the Titanic, we have countries like China, Korea and India with whom we owe money to.

Pretty sad really.

I mean, why is it that we live in a country with more freedoms that 95% of the world, yet we are so financially enslaved.

Let me remind you, it’s not just our government, it’s people are also heavily in debt and none of it is getting better.

As more and more layoffs keep happening and more jobs are being prostituted overseas to cheaper, more efficient labor, it is becoming harder and harder for people to survive financially.

Why Writing Articles and Creating Videos To Drive Traffic Is a Waste Of Time.

In the past two years, I have produced over 500 videos, 400 articles and over 800 blog posts.  You could say I have produced some serious numbers when it comes to content creation.  I also have to admit that I produced a lot of that with the intent to drive a hoard of traffic.

I know I may catch some slack for saying this, however, I’ve tested it.

Creating content to drive hoards of traffic is a JOKE!  It creates trickles of traffic.  To even have a sporting chance of getting ranked in the search engines you also have to become some what of a keyword research and SEO expert.  No one is searching for content on Page 2 of Google, so unless your on Page 1, your not going to get much attention.

3 Lessons My 80+ Year Old Grandmother Taught Me About Social Media.
