MLM – (MLM) is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of others they recruit, creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation.

Affiliate Marketing – Affiliate marketing is a marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate’s own marketing efforts. How To Deal With Curious vs. Serious People In Home Business

Anyone who has been involved in the home business arena for any length of time has run into two types of characters in their journey.  There are the “Curious” and the “Serious” people.

These people will burn your time if you let them.  They are slow to make decisions and very quick to change the decisions they have made.  They don’t really know what they want out of life and have no clear direction.  They dabble in this and dabble in that but never seem to get any traction in life.

Why Education Always Comes Before Money.

I can remember getting out of college and going, “phew, I don’t ever have to take another test or open another book again.” Boy was I far from reality with that stupid statement.

I have come to learn that education NEVER stops. When you stop learning, you start dying. We have all been intimately designed to constantly be sifting and sorting through information (our brains) and then using that information to hopefully build a better life for ourselves.

I see a lot of people chasing money and it evades them. I heard once from a very successful business man that to become wealthy, you must first chase knowledge and eventually money will start chasing you. If you do it the other way around, you will always be frustrated and broke.

We are living in a world much different then when I grew up. I was told to go to school, get an education and go to work for a company for as long as I could and I would be ok. That was the biggest lie EVER! I did all of those things and ended up settling for much less then I was capable of. The truth is, the only way you can get ahead in today’s day and time is to work for yourself.

Is There A Difference Between Internet Marketing, Network Marketing and MLM?

I have been thinking for a while about the difference between what I used to do in MLM and the way I conduct business today and I have come to the conclusion that, Yep… There is a huge difference  in both MLM and Internet Marketing.  This is only my opinion here and not necessarily fact so seek to understand before being understood.

Prior to marketing online, I spent 4-1/2 years networking by building lists, calling those people, showing the plan, attending hotel meetings, etc.  I was trying to build an organization through networking through other peoples networks.  While this sounds like a great concept, it was fricking brutal!

Yes some people are successful in doing this, but most spend years buying into the dream that eventually they will find a few people who will build the business.  You spend most of your time trying to keep up with replacing the reps that just quit.

Today, my life is so much different.  In the past 26 months, I have not put anyone in business that I have not built a relationship with online.  Yes, that is right. I have not talked with any friends, family or anyone within my local area about business in over two years and I have gotten well over ten times the results and a hundred times the income than all of the previous 4-1/2 years combined.

Why Residual Income Is Deadly Important To Your Future.

“Residual income is that of fairy tales and only reserved for the ultra wealthy.”

That statement couldn’t be further from the truth. For those who don’t even know what residual income is, it is income that comes in month after month, year after year without you having to do the physical work for it.

It is what many are after but few know how to create it.  It provides the ultimate kind of leverage.

In the past, the only people that had access to residual type income were people who owned real estate, investors and Insurance salesmen.

Why Responsibility and Honesty Go Hand And Hand In The Home Business Industry.

I don’t know about you, but honesty, integrity, accountability and responsibility are extremely high on my list of characteristics that I not only strive for, but look for in people that are going to be in my life.

In the home business industry, especially online, you will find all sorts of characters out there.  There are people who provide lots of value and have awesome products and then there are the um, well let’s just say less tasteful people pushing their cheesy products and service just to make a quick buck. Oh, by the way, those folks have short term success as their business models are unsustainable.

Anyways, somewhere along the line, you are going to have to take responsibility for where you are.

Turnkey Home Based Business | The Wave Of The Future.

When you think of the word “turnkey”, what do you think of?  McDonalds, Burger King, Moe’s Southwest Grill? Turn key businesses have been around for decades and have become a part of our society. The reason they are popular is that you don’t have to come up with a concept and you are starting with a proven business model that works.  It has been tested, people have made profit and it’s a great way to create income.

The challenge is, with a traditional brick and mortar business model, location tends to be the biggest challenge and the biggest risk.  Get your location wrong and you are in trouble.  I can’t tell you how many people I have known over the years that invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into business and got the location thing wrong.

The greatest thing about having the ability to own a turnkey internet business is you don’t have to worry about the location of your store.  You have no light bill, maintenance bill or electric bill.  You may have an employee or two, but you don’t have to worry about dealing with payroll companies, suppliers, people not showing up to work, etc.

Turnkey Internet Businesses | The Undisputed Facts About Making Money Online.

After spending the past 36 months learning how to create income online using a turnkey business model, I have learned a thing or two about marketing, people and products.

I have learned about 25 different marketing techniques of which I consistently use two or three. I have talked with hundreds of people about internet business and helped dozens create their first checks online and I have learned which products sell and which ones don’t.

For some reason I feel there is a big misconception about what a turnkey internet business really is.  People think that turnkey means that you get started, pay a few hundred bucks and viola, the money just pours in and all of the sudden your wealthy.

When I talk to people who are making $4-5K  a month and they tell me they want to make $50K a month and only have $500-$1000 to invest, something  just doesn’t add up.

How The Home Based Business Industry Has Haunted Me.

If you would have asked me 10 years ago where I would be 10 years from then, I would have told you, “running a 5 star resort somewhere cool”.

The truth is, I am so far from that former goal, its unbelievable.

I was introduced to the home business industry 12 years ago, however did not realize the potential of it until about two years ago.  Let me explain.

So back in 2004 I was turned on to a very well known health and wellness company and business. I got started, stayed steady and make a few bucks here and there, but nothing earth shattering.

I finally began to understand what leverage was all about.  I also realized that I was working with a played out, old school business model that was not really working for me.  I turned to the internet looking for a better way to build my current MLM business and behold, I found not only a great system, but a whole other business model.

I realized that I was stuck.  The successful people I was learning from had built their business all offline using traditional networking tactics.  I knew there had to be a better way of getting in front of people and that the internet would dish up the answer.
