Somewhere Deep In The Adirondacks.
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010
I know it has been a while since my last post. Sometimes we just need a little time to step back and reflect on what we are doing, where we are going and get focused again.
My family and I usually come up to New York State in the summer time as it gives our children time with their grandparents and cousins and gives my wife Pamela and I a break from our lives in Georgia. I have to say, I do miss it up here. The air is clean, the scenery is magnificent and there is no where else I would rather put on my running shoes and just run first thing in the morning.
One of the cool things about working off a computer and a cell phone is it gives you the freedom to work where ever you want. During previous years coming up to Bolton Landing, NY (Where my in-laws live) there was no cell phone service, and I had to spend time with my long time friend and college roommate Darren in Saratoga Springs, NY (About 45 minutes south).
Due to recent changes in technology and AT&T putting out a rather dandy product called 3G Microcell, we now have cell phone coverage here. It hooks up through the high speed internet and WI-FI and provides up to 10 users in the household that use AT&T cell service and can handle up to 4 lines of usage at once with 5 bar service. It’s pretty slick. Best part about it is it doesn’t gobble up your minutes when your using it.

What People Are Really Looking For In The Midst Of This Recession.
Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010In the midst of what is going on in our country, government trying to take over our so called “Democracy”, the dollar bill falling in value due to over inflation and the lack of belief in our system, there is a glimpse of hope in people’s lives.
Leadership
What is all boils down to is folks are looking for leaders. They are looking for someone to believe in that can take them by the hand and guide them down the path to financial peace. Leaders are not born, they are made, however most people end up being a follower.

Living A Life Of Significance Vs. Living A Life Of….
Monday, June 7th, 2010Prior to me being a family man, I have to be quite honest with you, I lived for myself. I worked just so I could party, have the things in life I wanted and have a good time. It was all about the good time. From the time I was about 14 years old, I have had the freedom to pretty much do anything I wanted in life.
I had loving parents. Grew up right on the ocean in Maui Hawaii. There were little things to fear about being a young man and being given a lot of freedom to roam the island as I pleased.
At about 15 I got my drivers license, first car, first girlfriend and my first job. I had the life that most young men dream about. No responsibility other than making sure I made it to school, showed up for work and woke up the next day to do it all over again.

The End Of The Middle Class.
Friday, June 4th, 2010While many continue to go about their lives putting one step in front of the other and simply ignoring what is going on around them, there are others gearing up for the collapse of our economy. When I say gearing up, I mean in the process of making fortunes.
You see, when we have recessions like the one we are in and are going to be in for sometime now, major shifts occur in our economy right under our noses.
For most people, their only source of what is going on in our economy is fed to them through CBS, NBC or one of the other one sided news networks.
