Video marketing is a hot topic these days as its audience outweighs all 4 major news networks current audience.  That’s right.  There are more people that watch youtube videos than all of the 4 news networks put together.  Powerful stuff right?  Well it’s only powerful if you know how to use videos to market your product or service.

There are many video sharing sites out there but the grandpa of them all is YOUTUBE .

Youtube is not for your 14 year olds to put up silly movies they make with their friends.  It is a powerhouse of information.  Being that Youtube is owned by google, you have the very same search capabilities but on a video level.  You can find a video of just about anything these days.

How do you start your day?

I start my day with a devotional book by Karen Moore called “A Taste of the Spirit”.   I love reading scripture and then a summary of the scripture in Karen’s words.  This set’s the tone for my day and makes me feel great knowing that I put god at the forefront of my mind first thing in the morning.

You see, how you start your day is the catalyst for how your day will progress.  I always want to have a productive day filled with joy, contentment and happiness.  I find the easiest way to do this is concentrate on my goals and then do things throughout the day that will get me one step closer to those goals.

SEO and Content Syndication: Debunking The Duplicate Content Myth

Recently a consulting client of mine asked me if I agreed with a colleague of his about Google disliking duplicate content and to reduce or refrain the amount of content he syndicates (distributes) on the Web.

I think there’s a huge misunderstanding out there about how to distribute your content without hurting your website in the eyes of search engines.

If you publish content, you should have the first, original content on your website. No doubt. However, you can “repurpose” it and strategically distribute it on the Web, and this will not hurt your search engine/Google SEO efforts.

This is something I refer to in my SONAR Content Distribution Model TM and has helped my clients’ quantifiably increase traffic rank, traffic visits, leads and sales.

- I love that question.  I will answer it partially with a question.  Is your job risky?  Being that companies are laying people off left and right, I would have to say that your job is way riskier than having your own business.  With any venture comes risk and overcoming risk leads to a chance of victory.  Personally, I never think of my business as being risky, I think of it as my ticket to a better life.

2. How much money will I have to invest?

-As much or as little as you want.  Here is where most people blow it.  Must get started in an MLM/Network Marketing company and think that just because they paid their sign up money and have bought product, they are in business..Yes and no.  That just got you started.  You will now have to invest in your education, tools for your business, marketing and anything else that is associated with becoming successful in your industry.  It’s your business and your future.  Treat it like a hobby and it will pay you like one.

Most Don’t realize they are in trouble until their monthly expenses are exceeding their income. Then comes the point where people are turning to debt consolidation, bankruptcy,etc.. Successful People do it anyways

Some mornings I wake up and I dont want to go to the gym and I just want to sleep in.  Over the years, I have learned that if I compromise on one area in my life, I will do it in others so I force myself to do the things I dont want to do.

You see, that is the difference between someone who is going to achieve their goals and someone who just thinks about achieving their goals.  There have been times that I have rolled back over in the early AM.  I can never go back to sleep because I am thinking about what I am supposed to be doing.  I end up getting up and getting the job done.

I roll that over into my business.  There are many days and nights in which it would be easier to just watch TV or go out on the town.  I know, however, that if I dont do the deal every day, I will get complaisant.  That is not a place I ever want to be. I am either growing or dying and I always want to be growing.

I have noticed that people come up with all kinds of excuses as to why they are in the position they are in.  I dont buy any of them.  I know what it is like to struggle.  I also know what it is like to win.
